A book about the human desire to move to and discover new and different places. A conversation between mother and daughter evokes questions about life in current-day Israel, belonging to a certain place, the experience of being foreign, the desire to reinvent ones self in new places and the hard-to-explain yearning towards unknown territories.
The transcript of the conversation is accompanied by imagery made of fragments of personal memories from faraway lands and other various sources of public domain, which create imagined images of unknown places, alongside nursery rhymes in different foreign languages, transcribed in phonetic Hebrew writing.
140 mm x 240 mm, 186 pages, paper back folded cover, Images printed and bound in French folds.
